Program Enrollment Maximum

Is there an enrollment cap for the NBJG Program?

Yes, the maximum total NBJG Program enrollment each year is 1,500 participants.

Total program enrollment is split about 50/50 between the morning and afternoon sessions. For example, with 1,500 participants there would be about 750 participants in the morning session and 750 in the afternoon session.

If my child passes the swim test, are they guaranteed a spot in this year’s program?

This will depend on the total number of children who pass the swim test.

If “swim pass” is under 1,500:

If the total number of children who pass the swim test is below 1,500, then all families are able to sign up for that year’s program, provided they pay during their registration window.

If “swim pass” is over 1,500:

If the number of children who pass the swim test exceeds 1,500, registration will be based on a first-come-first-served bases based on two registration windows as follows:

  1. Returning JG (child participated in the prior year’s summer program)
  2. New Families (regardless of residency)
