YOU ARE A RETURNING FAMILY IF: Your child (or your child's sibling) participated in last summer's Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program.

REVIEW ACCOUNT INFO: Make sure all child information is correct and up-to-date on each child entered in the system.
REVIEW/ADD AUTHORIZED USERS: Be sure to also check the "my account" section and add/update account information and any authorized users.
ADD SIBLINGS: If a new sibling (who did not participate last summer) is trying out this year, be sure to add him/her to your existing account by clicking "add junior." This sibling will have access to the "returning family" registration window. Important "new" sibling info: While this sibling has "returning family" status for registration purposes, he/she is still considered a "new" JG and will need to have all "new" JG documents present at the swim test.
PRINT PAPERWORK: Complete, print, sign, and bring the swim test form to the swim test (one per child). Your child will not be allowed in the pool without this form.

ADD YOUR CHILD'S INFO: Click "add junior" and input all requested information. This step must be done for each child trying out for the program.

Step 2: Reserve a Swim Test Time (January/February)
Swim test reservations are required and begin January 30, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Reservations are made through your NBJG account.
Step 3: Swim Test Tryout (March)
Participants must annually tryout and pass an NBJG swim test to qualify for the program. Be sure to bring all required documents!
