City of Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program

The event consists of a 1 mile run from the Balboa Pier to 10th Street, and a 1 mile swim back. Wear a costume and bring your fins for the swim. In addition, bring a lunch and plenty of water to drink. There will be an alternative course for those participants who do not wish to participate in the swim course.
As always, the course may be altered for participant safety.
Remember: There is only one JG session this day from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
