City of Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program

Event Description:
After another epic summer on the beaches of Newport, we thought it would be great to give back to the beach that has given so much to us! So, we are holding a beach clean-up! We will focus our clean-up on the area north of the JG trailer.
What to bring/wear:
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Shoes/flip-flops
- Reusable water bottle (we will have a water refill station)
- Snack
- JGs are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves or bags to help reduce the trash produced by the clean-up; however, we will have gloves and bags available for participants who aren’t able to bring their own.
Event Registration:
To assist us in anticipating participation interest this day and to expedite the sign-in process, we would prefer JGs sign up in advance by August 10. However, day of sign-up is welcome as well.
