Junior Lifeguards are required to arrive in uniform each day of the program. The Junior Lifeguard uniform is to be worn only while the program is in session or traveling to and from the JG program.

Female swimsuits are NOT INCLUDED in the program fee. If you did not order a female swimsuit, a JG swimsuit can be purchased on the uniform sale day (see details below). Families purchasing a non-JG swimsuit should review the swimsuit portion of the Uniform Standard prior to making a purchase.

Saturday, June 2, 2018; 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Monday, June 4 through Thursday, June 7; 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: Wear comfortable beach shoes on uniform pick up day as you will be walking through the sand.
Uniform exchanges will take place on after all uniform pick-up dates have passed. Please do not write your Junior Lifeguard’s name in their uniform if an exchange is necessary.
Can I purchase additional uniforms items after registration has closed?
A pre-program uniform sale will take place Monday, June 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This will be the ONLY pre-program sale date. After that, uniform items will be available for sale again the beginning the second week of the program and continuing through the end of the program. Items will be available on a first-come-first-served basis until we run out of stock.
All Items may be purchased with credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) or checks payable to the City of Newport Beach.
